Proton’s Alistair McRae is currently on PR duties at the Proton Power of 1 show in Kuala Lumpur. This huge show showcases Proton’s new products as well as its diverse motorsport involvement from the current Lotus Formula-one car to the S2000 Proton Satria.

McRae is looking forward to getting back in the action” In two weeks time we head to New Zealand for the first round of the 2012 Asia Pacific Rally Championship.

We’re been there two times in the past, Chris won last year and we were third. Really looking forward to it.

I have a new team mate with PG Andersson who’s extremely fast and recently won the Swedish round of the P-WRC with S2000 Proton.  So I’m sure will have extremely strong team, the cars are always improving and looking forward to getting back behind the wheel in defence of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship”.
