Teams Prepare for China

The containers are rolling in and teams are preparing for the final round of the 2011 Asia Pacific Rally Championship, China Rally based in Longyou, Zhejiang Province.

China Rally will decide the APRC drivers title – a race between the two Proton drivers Alister McRae on 116 points and Chris Atkinson 109. The Cusco-Pertamina team will be there in force as will SouEast Motor Kumho, but no MRF who have understandably with-drawn from the APRC  after Gill’s exclusion from the results in Hokkaido.

APRC Teams Coordinator Murray Brown is already in Longyou helping with the setup and preparation. Browns reports temperatures of 12-15 degrees C and occasionally warmer when the sun peaks through. No sign of winter rain, lets hope it holds off for at least another week.
