New Livery for Paddon Subaru

Former APRC driver Hayden Paddon releases an artists impression of the new livery for the Subaru the New Zealander will drive in the 2011 P-WRC.

From Hayden Paddon…..

Things have been very busy this week, spending the last few days in Auckland meeting with people and helping a fellow competitor with car set-up.

Thanks to Kieran at Granger design we have now revealed our 2011 livery. The car will look great and incorporates the Kiwi image with the black and the silver fern, while the green carries on from previous years. The roof will also include a large Silver Fern. As you can see, there are still a few blank spaces on the car that we are looking to find partners for.

We are also currently working through designs for team merchandise, clothing and promotional items.

Our meeting in Auckland on Friday night was great and a big thanks to Greg Paul for putting it together on late notice. Also thanks to everyone that came along as there was certainly some great ideas and suggestions that we have taken away from it.

Next week looks to be another busy week, with a meeting with both Prime Minister, John Key and Sporting minister, Murray McCully. It will be a great chance to express our passion for what we do and how big motorsport in general is in Europe and how many Kiwi’s there are competing at the top level of all disciplines of motorsport. I firmly believe that while competing in Europe would be a prime opportunity to promote New Zealand.

That’s all for now. I must admit that watching the live stage times from Sweden is giving me itchy feet to get back in the car – but not long now.

Thanks

Hayden
