Welcome to my first APRC update for 2016, with some important pre-season information, for your reference.

APRC 2016 calendar

I’m pleased to advise that the APRC calendar for 2016 has now been finalised, as follows:

APRC rallies will be all 6 rallies as above
Pacific Cup will be New Zealand and Australia
Asia Cup will be China, Japan, Malaysia and India (with best 3 results counting)
Junior Cup will be New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Malaysia
Production Cup will be all 6 rallies of APRC
As in 2015, Würth Cup will include all 6 rallies of APRC

As previously advised these are available on the FIA website www.fia.com and the APRC website www.fiaaprc.com
Please note the changes to the regulations from 2015, as outlined in APRC Update 2015.10
If you have any problems accessing or downloading these, or have any questions about the regulations or registration process, please let me know

The 2016 APRC registration form will be available on the APRC website from today
Registrations for APRC, Junior Cup, Pacific Cup and Production Cup will close at same time as entries for Rally Whangarei, ie Monday 4 April
Note that there will again be a reduced registration fee if paid on or before 29 February 2016

As advised previously, there are some changes for Rally Whangarei. Please check RG1 or the rally website www.rallywhangarei.co.nz
In advance planning for logistics for this rally, I am advising teams to have their containers arriving in Auckland port, no later than Monday 18 April
MPI quarantine inspections will be held on Thursday 21 or Friday 22 April in Auckland. Once completed containers will then be moved to Northtec, Whangarei
Final details will be advised closer to time
