The Full-On Rallysport team leave next week for Rally New Caledonia, the second round of the 2013 APRC Pacific Cup. Following their successful 3rd place in the Pacific Cup at the opening round of the championship in Whangarei, team driver and owner Bruce Fullerton is looking forward to the next challenge.
“New Caledonia will be totally new for our team, which makes it very interesting. The route has been totally changed this year and is restricted to just 3 sections of road, each used 3 times in each direction, so we expect it to get rougher as the event goes on. It will be a good challenge and we’re really looking forward to it.”
“We were very happy to finish 3rd in the Pacific Cup in New Zealand with the Alliance Evo 9, and we shall be looking for a similarly good result in New Caledonia. Recce will be a challenge in a left hand drive car, but we’ll adapt to that.”
There is very little time between the events in the Pacific Cup, so the team wants to bring the car back to Queensland with the minimum amount of work required before the IROQ event, which is the final round of the APRC Pacific Cup, and the team’s home rally from the 12th to the 14th July.
Full-On Rallysport would like to thank their sponsors – Alliance Airlines, Fullerton Financial Services and Pirelli tyres for their assistance with entering the Pacific Cup.
